One standout project was a property inherited by an estranged owner, who wanted nothing to do with the house but was seeking to be made whole financially. With a fair and quick offer, Meghan and Jake purchased the home for $120,000, investing $102,000 in rehab. After seven months of hard work, they found the perfect buyer—a woman who was thrilled to make the house her new home. The home ultimately sold for $279,900, bringing value to both the seller and the new owner.
Through this home restoration project, Meghan and Jake helped someone let go of a property, found a beautiful new home for another, and turned a profit—all while remaining committed to a fair, efficient, and compassionate approach. Today, Meghan and Jake continue to focus on assisting clients through the complexities of real estate, always with the goal of creating win-win solutions.
In one of Meghan and Jake’s most rewarding projects, they worked with a property owner who was burdened by the high bills and upkeep of her property. The owner didn’t have the time or resources to fix the house up for a traditional market sale and was seeking a specific price to relieve her from the ongoing costs. Understanding her situation, Meghan and Jake were able to offer a fair and timely solution that met all her needs.
They purchased the property for $100,000 and, after agreeing to the terms that would provide the relief the seller was seeking, began the home restoration project. The rehab took several months, but once completed, the property was ready for resale.
We were referred to this owner by the owner of 219 Newton. This owner is elderly and moved in with her daughter in St. Louis. The home was filled with items, personal and otherwise. No one had been in the home for two years. She asked if we could buy it as is for a fair price. We were able to purchase the home and clean it out with little waste. We found charity groups, consignment stores, etc, to distribute the items to individuals who could use them. We rehabilitated the home and sold it to a 24-year-old, first-time home buyer.
“Meghan and Jake provided truly exceptional service from start to finish. They guided us through every step of the process, offering expert advice on necessary home repairs and cosmetic improvements that helped maximize our home’s resale value. Thanks to their strategic efforts, we received a strong pre-listing offer that far exceeded our expectations.
Their support didn’t stop there. Meghan and Jake remained hands-on throughout the whole process—managing paperwork, coordinating inspections, and maintaining clear communication with prospective buyers. Their expertise and dedication were instrumental in achieving a smooth, successful sale. We are sincerely grateful for their hard work and unwavering commitment.”

They purchased the property for $100,000 and, after agreeing to the terms that would provide the relief the seller was seeking, began the renovation process. The rehab took several months, but once completed, the property was ready for resale.
They listed the property and eventually sold it for $201,000, bringing a significant return on investment while also ensuring that the previous owner was able to move on without the stress of the property’s bills weighing her down.
The seller expressed how much of a relief this was, feeling grateful that Meghan and Jake could help her out and give her the peace of mind she needed. The successful outcome not only provided the seller with financial relief but also gave the buyers a beautiful, renovated home to call their own.
For Meghan and Jake, this project was another example of how they aim to provide win-win solutions—helping people move forward while improving homes and communities.
