We decided to put our family name on the business because we know what it stands for, and because we are determined to be different by being ourselves. We bought our first property in 2018 and renovated it over the course of two painstaking years. Throughout that time, we learned almost everything we could about the home restoration process. Once that first project was complete, we entered the rental market, bought another property, and listed that as an Airbnb.
The further we went on that real estate journey, the more we happened to meet people who had been hurt by questionable, quick-sale real estate investors, in moments when those people were in the most pain (usually, in the middle of a divorce or bereavement). We heard tragic stories of promises made, deals broken, and dreams shattered. We knew then that we had to do something about it.
In 2024, we decided to head full-time into property restoration (otherwise known as ‘flipping’) because we had seen the dark side of the industry firsthand, and because we knew that, as the Botkin Family, we could do something different. We want to restore how prospective clients like you see real estate investing by putting people first, not properties.
I have been in the real estate business since 2004. I started as a mortgage loan processor and gained an in-depth understanding of the loan process, government, and safety requirements when it comes to homes, individuals’ struggles with obtaining funds, credit issues, etc. I was a processor for 20+ years. I was also an REO title specialist and title researcher. Jake approached me when he was in high school, asking if I would attend a real estate group meeting with him. We dove in, and in 2018, Jake and I bought our first property. It was a natural transition to becoming a real estate agent and investor.
Whether you’re buying or selling an unwanted property, investing, or trying to buy one, I bring a personalized, strategic approach to every transaction. I aim to make the process smooth, informed, and successful – while treating every client like family.
After reading Rich Dad Poor Dad in high school, I became deeply interested in the inner workings of the real estate industry. Inspired, I approached my mom and asked if we could attend a real estate investor networking event together. From that moment, I was hooked. I dove into books, attended more meetings, and connected with like-minded people who shared my passion.
In 2018, we purchased our first home. It took two years to fix up, but the lessons we learned during that time were invaluable—like a lifetime of knowledge compressed into a single experience.
After high school, I attended Grove City College, majoring in Entrepreneurship. There, I learned how to cultivate a business with purpose and was taught that all companies—regardless of industry—should be built on empathy and honesty.
After graduating, I committed myself full-time to real estate. Whether you’re buying, selling an unwanted property or investing, I bring an honest, transparent approach to every transaction. I always put your needs ahead of the property. Based in Western Pennsylvania, I pride myself on my deep local market expertise and genuine commitment to relieving stress for every client I work with.
Outside of real estate, I enjoy reading, hiking, running the Young Adult Group at my church, and spending time with my family.
We have a dream to share with you: over the next five to ten years, we want to see the gradual renewal of neighborhoods throughout Beaver County and beyond, with every house in the Botkin Family accounted for and adding visual and financial value.
As you might have noticed, our overarching aim is to Restore Homes and Help People, One Neighborhood at a Time, by engaging in property rehabilitation of the highest quality. We believe that when we do this, we can help bring back pride in any places it might have been lost, and beauty in spaces that have been broken.
As people who live in Beaver County ourselves, we are not interested in pushing people out, or imposing our own agenda. We want to hear from and partner with people like you – to grow our family through meaningful connections in the communities our projects are based in.
In the Botkin family, we put our clients first. It’s never about us, but the people we get to fight for, and the situation they are in. In every meeting, we make sure to lay out options for your empowerment and education, even if that means you go in a different direction. We don't just want to leave a positive impression on you, but on everyone who lives in your community. Relationality is our ultimate value.
No matter the project or situation, we apply ourselves 100%. If there’s a task to be completed, we’ll be proactive, progressing, and working on it, guaranteed. More than that, our passion drives us to excellence: anything that has the Botkin name on it must be of the highest quality, from the big picture to the smallest details, because we strive for perfection. It's the Botkin way.
Honesty isn’t just the best policy; it’s our only policy. We tell you upfront what all of your options are, how much each part of the proposed project will cost, and what the financials will look like for all involved. The door is always open for you to look in on our progress, ask questions, and find out how others have found this process – we have countless satisfied customers who would be happy to offer a referral. Above all, we are trustworthy because we care.
